The EGKC Championship is open to all Emirates Group staff and immediate family members ages 13 and up.

The EGKC Season XV (2025-26) Round 7 is on Saturday, the 24th of January 2026.

There are three categories that you can race in – Professionals, Amateurs, and Masters (ages 40 and up).

Only 10 of each driver’s best race results will count towards the final championship points.

You can join the championship at any point in the season to be in contention for the championship, but the more races you join, the better your chances will be to be champion!

But of course, you can join us anytime to have some fun on the track with us!

About us

The Emirates Group Karting Club (EGKC) was formed by a few passionate petrolheads working for Emirates Airlines in early 2011.

After taking part in a few 24-hour endurance races and coming in a very respectable 2nd place in the Corporate Category in the NFM 24-hour endurance race in 2009, it was decided that an Emirates Airlines karting club should be formed which would be open to all Emirates Group employees and their immediate family.

Since its inception, the EGKC has successfully run 13 full seasons of the EGKC championship. The Season 14 Championship is due to flag off on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 at Karting Town, Sharjah, and this in-house championship is open to all employees of the Emirates Group and their dependents, ages 13 and up.

The EGKC members regularly take part in Endurance races in UAE and Europe.

The EGKC is the Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Champion of 2019 and five-time champion of the Corporate Category (2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 & 2021) at the same championship.

The EGKC was ranked #1 in the UAE and #5 in the world in the Sodi World Series Endurance Category in 2019 and qualified for the 2020 World Finals.
